Coastal has been providing exceptional health care to the community since 1988, and a good part of Coastal’s management staff has been on board since its founding year. The average employment length of our senior management staff is 23 years, which is a lot of combined experience/skills in the ambulance industry. We understand and know the business, the community, its healthcare partners and its patients.

Board of Directors

Coastal operates under the guidance of a board of directors comprised of senior hospital executives from the area’s hospital healthcare systems and members of the hospital’s board of directors.

Contract Manager

Coastal operates under a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) approved by the Brevard County Board of Commissioners. Our COPCN is complimented by a contractual franchise agreement that specifies response times, requires regular reports to our Contract Manager, (Director, Brevard County Fire Rescue) and, mandates our mutual aid responsibilities for regular operations as well as disaster response.
